Suzanne has been leading design for more than 20 years. At Uber Freight, she led a multidisciplinary team envisioning the end-to-end customer experience, part of a complex ecosystem involving numerous entities with highly specialized needs and goals. As a key leader on the organization’s technology team, Suzanne was at the forefront in shaping how new technologies could seamlessly and responsibly be integrated into the existing ecosystem.
Prior to Uber Freight, Suzanne led product design and research charters, both in house and through her own consultancy, at organizations such as Flexport, Intuit, Disney, and Yahoo!. Suzanne is also a published author, speaker, and instructor with experience teaching graduate level design coursework at UC Berkeley’s School of Information.
Suzanne earned her Bachelor's in Economics & Business Management from Cornell University, and her Master's in Information Management from UC Berkeley’s School of Information. She also studied Japanese at Stanford University’s Kyoto campus while conducting postgraduate economics research at the institute. Suzanne is originally from New York but has been based in San Francisco for more than 25 years.
